Bart Arrington, Manager – Mine Permitting

Bart joined Mosaic in September 2011. He oversees the permitting efforts in DeSoto County. Previously, Bart worked as a site development consulting engineer for 12 years in the Southwest Florida area. Before joining Mosaic, he served more than four years as the County Engineer for DeSoto County. Ask Bart if you have any specific questions about Mosaic’s mine permitting efforts in DeSoto County.

Bryant Grant, Senior Mine Development Engineer

Bryant has been with Mosaic and its predecessor companies for more than 30 years. His expertise includes Mining Engineering, Operations and Environmental Permitting and he was instrumental in the development of the DeSoto mine permit application. Bill Brammell, Ecologist III

Shelley Thornton, Engineer III:

Shelley joined Mosaic in April 2011. She manages the DeSoto Mine water pipeline project and off-site mitigation projects. Prior to working for Mosaic, Shelley worked for the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and private consulting firms. Heather Nedley, Public Affairs Manager

Prior to joining Mosaic in 2011, Heather was Executive Director of the Polk County Farm Bureau for eight years. In her role as Public Affairs Manager, Heather is primarily responsible for community engagement and support for Mosaic’s permitting team in DeSoto County.
