Members of the Leadership DeSoto Class 3 spent their second day of the year long program learning about Agriculture and the Environment. The day of educational speakers and tours was sponsored by Mosaic.
An open house for the Mosaic Company’s new DeSoto County office was held on Tuesday, Nov. 1 in downtown Arcadia. Located in “The Depot” plaza at 4 West Oak Street, Suite B, the office will serve as an additional resource for DeSoto residents who are interested in learning more about Mosaic’s operations, plans and community involvement in the county.

The Mosaic Express, also known as Big MoE, incorporates agriculture, geology, biology and engineering into Mosaic’s phosphate mining and fertilizer production business. This month, more than 350 students at DeSoto Middle School had a chance to see explore the bus and participate in interactive activities.
